For homeowners who installed an ENERGY STAR compliant pre-painted metal roof in 2010 you are eligible for a tax credit of 30% of the cost of roofing materials, up to $1,500! This tax credit ends December 31st 2010, so make sure you get those documents to your tax professional!
For calendar year 2011 there is a rebate of 10% of the cost of roofing materials up to $500 for an existing home that is your principal residence. New contstruction and rentals do not qualify. See a Bridger Steel sales representative for more info.
