New year, new decade, new design trends! This new year is bringing in some new design trends for the home, both inside and out. We’re here to share our favorite exterior and interior trends for the upcoming year. Give your home a refreshing new look this spring by incorporating any of these design elements!

Texture, texture, texture

One of the biggest home design trends sweeping the nation this spring is texture, and utilizing metal panels is one of the easiest ways to add texture to both the interior and exterior of your home. Break up a boring, painted wall with some metal wainscoting or add a corrugated metal accent wall to your kitchen with hardwood flooring. By simply mixing textures, you can breathe new life into your home.

Texture on the exterior of your home is also a bit easier to achieve than you think. You can spice up your entryway by adding a metal accent or mix wood shutters with metal siding. Adding different textures to your home can give it depth and increase your curb-appeal.

Amazing Accents

Along with texture, accents are huge this spring. Adding a splash of metal creates a stunning accent, and there are tons of different applications you can use to achieve this design trend. Inside the home, create an entire accent wall out of metal panels. Outside the home, incorporate accents by updating your deck or porch with pop of metal.

Keep Natural Light in Focus

One of the biggest interior design trends of 2020 is highlighting and capitalizing on natural light. Using metal in the home is a great way to help heighten and emphasize any light already coming into your home. Due to metal's reflective qualities, and depending on the color or finish your choose, an addition of metal panels inside the home can brighten up the space and give the illusion of increased natural light.

Dark, Rich Colors

A continuing trend for 2020 is the use of dark, rich colors on both the interior and exterior of a home. Colors like charcoal grays, blacks, deep browns, and navy blues give a home a modern look. You can incorporate dark colored finishes onto any of our metal panels, whether you want to update your exterior with metal siding or your interior with metal wainscoting.
